From Cite Soleil to Miami… Sophonie enjoyed growing up in Haiti where she had a humble beginning and started singing. Born on March 2nd, 1983 to Christian parents and has two older brothers. She is an Alumna of Miami Dade College as well as Florida International University. Sophonie has worked in the Education sector for more than fifteen years. She currently still serves as an educator and juggles different roles. She is a singer, songwriter, mentor, a sister and a dear friend. Sophonie has a moving testimony which connects her with many in ministry; she cheers on women to pursue restoration in the areas of family, marriage, and education; she is a coach to many who struggle with infertility, rejection and divorce. Sophonie has been serving in ministry for over twenty years. 

Sophonie is a support and creative leader, that has revolutionary educational impact on lifelong learners through her exclusive teachings and creative contents. She is CALLED to work in the areas of education, children, youth and women ministry; from purity initiatives, fertility coaching to "Fighting for Your Marriage" these are all areas very dear to her heart. As a leader, she is always thriving, evolving and committed to growth. Sophonie will see many things happen as a result of that growth as she answers that CALL. She resides in Massachusetts with her husband Ronald and daughter Jhaneen.

In 2014, Sophonie founded Zepha Praise, a ministry that envisions to “Bridge Worship with Education”. Zepha Praise was established to help students stay motivated, encouraged and reach their goals academically and to remain lifelong learners beyond the classroom! Sophonie is also the founder of this brand new conference "Girl, you Got a Story to Tell!" also inspired from a women conference she attended in 2019, The Dash Conference.
